a)  Hairstyles:

Boys - The hair length for boys must be two fingers above the shirt-collar. They must have clean-shaven                faces at all times. beard, moustaches and/or sideburns is/are not permitted. No dyeing of hair is                    allowed.
Girls - Girls are encouraged to keep short hair.
         - Long hair should be plaited.
         - Hair should not fall below the eyebrows.
         - Only white/black/navy blue/dark brown ribbons, hairbands and clips are allowed.
         - No dyeing of hair is allowed and fringe should be above eyebrows.

b)  Attire:

i)  Boys/Girls - Shirt/blouse should not be oversized.
    Girls - Skirt should be of knee length.
ii ) T-shirt should always be tucked in.
iii) Be in school uniform/T-shirt if you have to come back after/before normal school hours.
iv) Name tag is compulsory. It should be ironed on just above the school logo.
v ) Pupils are to wear the prescribed school uniform and modification to the uniform is not allowed.

c)  Accessories :

i)  Only one pair of small ear-stud/ring earrings of golden or silver colour is allowed.
ii)  No jewellery other than earrings is allowed.

Footwear:

i)  No track shoes is allowed on weekdays except for games / CCA. No slippers or sandals are allowed except for valid reasons.
ii) Only JYPS socks should be worn.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR

1)  Pupils who are Singapore Citizens must sing the National Anthem and take the Pledge. Pupils will take the Pledge with the right fist placed over the heart.
2)  Go straight home after school unless you have remedial / supplementary / CCA.
3)  When moving as a class
  • Walk in twos.
  • Keep close. Do not leave gaps.
  • Do not talk or play while walking.
  • Line-up in twos for MT or when going out of class for any other lessons.
4)  Individual Movement
  • Use the exit pass when you leave the classroom.
  • Never leave the classroom when there is no teacher in class.
  • Class leaders or Prefects cannot give you the permission to leave.
5)  Be in school at 7.30 a.m.
6)  Hand in your homework on time.
7)  Pack your bag according to your time-table daily.
8)  No correction fluid (liquid paper) is allowed in your written work.
9)  Chewing gum is banned.
10)  Once you enter school you cannot leave the school unless you have special permission from the P/VP/HODs.
11)  No handphones/MP3/ectronic games and software is allowed. 
12) All pupils are not allowed to have their possession any weapon. They are also not allowed to bring any weapon-like item which is used or intended to be used to cause harm to others.
